Oscar has Passed Away

I apologize for the vanity- I am heartbroken today as my best friend and faithful companion has died. My tuff little Yorkie, Oscar, was killed last night by a coyote. The damn coyote snatched him right off of his rope in the backyard. Seems like the environmental nazi's want to keep all these killers alive so they can kill more domestic pets. He was my best friend in the whole world- his nickname was "Moleman"

He was my best friend in the whole world- his nickname was "Moleman"There are no finer words, between dog and master. As Kipling said,
So why in Heaven (before we are there)
Should we give our hearts to a dog to tear?
You know the answer. Best wishes to you.

Gee, xp38, that's quite a despicable thing to say, especially since you have this quote on your FR homepage "We pray that He will comfort and console those who now walk in sorrow."
I hope you are enough of a person to make an apology.

I was wondering what kind of a dog that would be, I like Retrievers, especially Goldens and so I found this:
Ottoman's Empire was killed defending the granddaughter of Bob Stevenson in a confrontation with a bear that decided to come toward her as she was playing with Otto on the porch at their family retreat. Both the dog and the bear died as a result of the defense. The best of vet care could not repair the damage but they will be forever grateful that Otto protected his friend and playmate, Emma, with his life.

I feel for your loss. I've been there, losing my best friend, my lab.
The world turns upside down. I know.
Hang in there; you have friends here, too.
To: Moleman
My heart hurts over your loss. As hard as it is right now, think of the joys & fun times you two had & how blessed you were to have each other. Thinking of you with love & prayers.

What kind of lower than the bottom of a septic tank scum would poison a dog? Sometimes the human race is beyond my understanding.I don't know. They were both boys from the same litter, 4 years old, and extremely well trained. They didn't even bark for no reason! Not a bad feat considering that they were pit bulls.
Whoever did this had to throw something edible that was poisoned into their pen. The vet informed me that they had been poisoned. They never bit anyone, but you weren't going to just walk up on them.
I'm gonna look to buy two more. And I'd better not find out who did it.

Sorry about your Yorkie. They're great pets and friends. (We buried ours down by our stream with a little tombstone, picket fence and everything.)
I have heard the coyotes will carry off infants as well.
To: austinrepub
If you have never had a dog for a friend, you have never had a friend. I suspect you have neither.

So sorry you lost your beloved pet. I will also say sorry for the crude post of one on this thread. You WILL be with your pet one day. You will see. Animals have souls unlike some humans.
