Did the nuke plants get built? If so we have a reason to "remove them from service" with extreme prejudice immediately. Also an end to the humanitarian aid we have been shoeling their way. If they have money for nukes they can FEED their own people.

"Did the nuke plants get built"

The concrete was poured a couple weeks ago. American and South Korean companies are putting the hardware together as we speak.....but this is a pressurized light water reactor. It has no usefulness to a weapons program, other than the electricity it can produce, which can be used for other ahem..things.

Those crazy North Koreans will not be even able to run or maintain the plant without continued foreign help. It would be easy to pull the plug on the project even if the plant is built to completion and comissioned. Start up is scheduled for around 2006.

Check out LWR plants 1&2, Hundyi heavy industries for the latest.

They are under construction, and are based on the CE design. I'm not sure how complete they are, but I'm reasonably sure they haven't taken fuel delivery yet.
