Received in email today. If their focus was more on live gun safety training instead of engendering fear, they would get better results, in my opinion. Notice the involvement of the WeTip hotline used to report "crime".
This kind of media blitz, coupled with "lesson plans" at NEA schools encouraging kids to live and breathe anti-firearms is another step toward gun registration by forcing honest kids to dutifully tell teachers who has guns in his house when it is none of their business, like it's a crime to just HAVE a gun.

Its a crime to defend yourself. Big Father Government knows better.

Maybe this is wishful thinking - but teens being teens will rebel against stuff like this being "dictated" to them. We live in the Fredericksburg, VA, area. My daughter, a high school freshman, agreed with me this morning on my comment that I hope the sniper is caught in VA as we not only have the death penatly, we carry it out. She also has been more appreciative that we keep a 9mm in the house for protection. Quite a change from the earlier years when the middle school bleeding hearts had her swaying the other way. Seems to me as real life situations hit closer to home our children will decide on their own. Again, maybe wishful thinking on my part...

"ASK (Asking Saves Kids), urges parents to ask their neighbors if they have a gun in the home before sending their children over to play"
I'm puzzled. If I'm concerned about the spread of STD's, should I ask the liberal parents of my children's playmates if they practice unprotected anal sex, have bisexual relationships or whether or not they have any funny sex toys in their nightstand drawers that the kiddies might get into? Life is so confusing today.
