This won't hurt McBride unless it gets out, and possibly not even then. This sort of thing offends us, but we weren't thinking of voting for McBride.

I don't know about that. I think previous elections have proved more and more voters go to the candidate's web site as the election draws closer, and this is right on Gov Bush's campaign home page here.

Also, it seems like the WA Post was going after McMumble for some kind of high road remark:

Even when pressed by the Post about the remarks, McBride refused to condemn or even repudiate them and make clear that he is willing to stand up to the special interests which support him.
