I suppose that it can happen... The "experts" can be wrong... For years, people in North Kansas City (MO) had claimed that there was a mountain lion roaming around up there, but they were repeatedly told that they were wrong or mistaken...

Well, Yesterday morning, a driver accidentally hit and killed a mountain lion! Not too far from the big amusement park (World's of Fun) in North KC!

Mountain Lions supposedly dont exist in Nebraska either, but ive talked to several people who have seen them or have friends that have seen them. Some of them have tracking collers on them, but the government denies they exist. So if there here, their definately down there.

Just revealed on the news, the mountain lion's stomach revealed it had been feeding on deer so its definitely wild. They have also been sighted by Platte City (about 15 miles NW). The conservation department, when shown cattle that had claw marks on their hind quarters (like how a lion attacks) said it couldn't be a mountain lion because "they just aint around these parts".
