Hate to say this, NR, but the simple truth is that Simon shot himself in the foot and when there's blood in the water, there is going to be a feeding frenzy. Comes with the territory. Sure, Simon's misstep is nothing compared to Davis' incompetence and abuse, but public perception is everything. When you play this game, it's for keeps. There is no mercy.
