Maybe for an adult it is beyond pale, but not for a young guy it isn't. We have seen the young killers have no feeling for their fellow kids. Remember all those school killings that were happening for a while. The youth of today does not have the same guilt feelings that we have. They seem to think that its not big deal to shoot a child as well as an adult. There is not distinction between a young target and an older target. For them the more the merrier Young, old, etc. Doesn't matter to them. The idea is to prove to the police that they are not afraid to kill anyone.
McVeigh referred to the children he killed as "collateral damage".
I share your same thoughts on this and have previously commented on this. What really steered me in the terror direction more than anything else was the fact that after the first couple of shootings on that first day, before the boy was even shot, the schools in the area went into immediately lock-in. I don't believe this would be standard procedure, unless of course they were responding to what they thought was related to the threats on American schools that came out at just about the time the shootings started.
I think so too. Although a psychopathic looney might do so, the Islamic warrior could easily rationalize this from the constant barrage of Palestinian propaganda saying the US enables Israel to kill Palestinian children, etc.
Not if the shooter is a teenager. A lot of things on this thread, and others, used to point the finger at ME terrorists could equally point to teenagaers.
The Note: Dear Policeman - Indicative of a juvinile mind.
The taunt: I am God - This statement was in response to statements made by the Chief at a press conference. Demonstrates that authority is an issue with the shooter. In my mind also indicative of juvinile thinking.
No shootings on weekends: - Why? Because parents are at home on weekends?
The tarot card: - Very new age or occultish. This points away from ME Terrorists and towards teenage punk goth mentality.
