Mysteriously the petition has removed the ability to remove comments but you can use the name to write appropriate comments.

Shucks!

And just as the noted Frenchman, Jacques Oeuf was about to sign on.

Access Blocked
If you believe you have reached this error page erroneously, please let us know by sending email to support@PetitionOnline.com. To aid in resolving the situation, we need to know the name of your internet service provider. Other relevant information you are willing to provide, such as the time of your connection attempt and the city, state, and country you're connecting from, may be very helpful. While we don't want to invade anyone's privacy, if you know the IP number you're connecting through, that is extremely helpful. Any such information provided will be used _only_ for technical support and site security purposes.

If you have specific questions, or if you would like to register your petition signature immediately by phone, please call us during Pacific Time business hours at 541-345-7421, and ask for 'PetitionOnline User Service'.

Please Note

Although PetitionOnline.com provides a non-partisan free speech web forum, hosting a wide range of petitions from across the political and social spectrum, ever since the November 7, 2000 election in the United States, several petitions at our site have been subjected to unprecedented and repeated attacks by vandals. In response to these negative, unconstructive, and in many cases criminal attacks, internal and external security steps are being taken. Where necessary and appropriate, law enforcement will be involved.

Some of the immediate security measures we take to maintain the integrity of our system may temporarily affect the ability of some responsible users to connect to PetitionOnline.com. This is especially likely for a small fraction of AOL users, since AOL is functioning at the moment as a haven for vandals. Because some other ISPs, like ATT.net, share access points with AOL, their users may also be effected.

In the long run, we won't let a few miserable provocateurs ruin the free speech of millions of responsible participants at PetitionOnline.com. By calm persistence, together we will hold the upper hand over that tiny number of people who apparently can't handle the basic responsibilities of free speech. Don't let the vandals get to you, and let's not give them any unnecessary satisfaction along the way.

Thank you for your patience!

— Webmaster, PetitionOnline.com

PS: If you are concerned about these attacks and would like to help, you could email the abuse control staff at AOL ("abuse@aol.com" and "tosgeneral@aol.com"), and ask them to actively coordinate with PetitionOnline.com on enforcement against illegal Internet attacks perpetrated through AOL accounts. (If you have questions, please call us during Pacific Time business hours at 541-345-7421, and ask for PetitionOnline.com Technical Support.)
