Seems like there are canadian provicial groups that want to seperate from the rest of canada.
This one wants to form a new country of western provinces:

In the end it works if Canada falls appart and each individual province can become a new star on the flag. The USA would have to "buy out" the pension benefits and Privatize the canadian single payer insurance scheme. The only problem would be amoung leftist who fear individual rights contained in the bill of rights.
