These "stances" are eerily reminiscent of the Hitler podium stances when addressing the German masses as the early Fuhrer.

Any watcher of the History Channel will be easily able to mentally morph these stance pictures of Byrd into Hitler and back again with no effort.

The resemblance is bizarre...
