I quit discussing religion here a while ago. (Talk about flames! LOL)

But I can make an exception this time because your Bible must be missing a couple of verses:

Romans 9:13
As it is written, "Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated."
Hebrews 1:9
You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions."
Revelation 2:6
But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

Seems like Jesus hates some things. And that is not even getting into the numerous "gentle and kind" speeches toward the Pharisees and Saducees. Jesus was not one to stand for people who abused their positions. Seems to me he even got angry and took a whip to a bunch of them. Hardly what I would consider moderate.

And, yes, salvation is available to all. But those who are not saved are going to hell. And that includes all the people who are National Democrat Party icons--every one of them has sold their souls to the devil himself.

jesus doesn't hate anyone. I went to a Lutheran Missouri Synod school. hate is satan, who hates us all anyway. I thought that salvation was unconditional, all we had to do was accept it? as a result of love for God we do good works.

Prov 6:16-19 (NKJV) There are six things the Lord hates, yes, seven are an abomination to him:

1. A proud look (Check out any Dem. Convention or fundraiser (ie, Streisand) on C-SPAN. They parade gays, and feminists and the Hollywood crowd across the stage and tell us how superior they are.)

2. A lying tongue (Toricelli, Clinton(s), Condit, etc., etc.)

3. Hands that shed innocent blood (NARAL, NOW, Dem. Party: Who is more innocent than an unborn baby? Notice the Bible says "innocent" blood, not death row murderers.)

4. A heart that devises wicked plans (Let's see, how about NJ Supreme Court, Senate Judiciary Committee, "Reparations",...)

5. Feet that are swift at running to evil (in other words, environmental whackos, gay parades, Million Man Marches,...and all the other anti-God activists. Now they're supposed to have an Atheist March in DC!)

6. A false witness who speaks lies (the liberal biased media)

7. And one who sows discord among brethren.(NAACP, the Congressional Black Caucus. Look at what they and their allies do to Colin Powell, Clarence Thomas and any black who is a Christian and disagrees with them.)

Jim, I'm glad you've stuck around this long. I believe God hates what liberals do, and that's what motivates me and a lot of other people on Free Republic.
