A young woman in our office has family living in that immediate area.

Her parents were in the Lowes store across the street from the gas station last night when the attack occurred.

They came out of Lowes to see several helicopters, and scores of police vehicles converging on the site.

They are both fine, and it now appears there is no limit to the police response when this happens.

It's not a Lowe's across the street, it's a Home Depot. Lowe's is a half mile down the road, behind Checker's.
