State considers closing five small airfields

The state says it may have to close five airports, including the busy facility at Kapalua on Maui, unless it can turn them over to private operators.

An Oct. 1 letter from Gov. Ben Cayetano to legislators says the state is considering closing or privatizing the five small airfields

Can you say "Fly in community?" I knew you could!

You see, since 9-11 and all the increased security, the corporate and elitists with planes are pissed about all the security. This way Whitney Houston can smoke her dope, Whoopie can tote her guns, and Barbara Streisand can insult all the people around her without being arrested by airport security. This is going to become the new way for the elite. Look for it in Aspen, Palm Springs, Florida, Las Vegas, and so on.....
