Israel Perspective (Jews right now are looking to Christians for help)

Israel’s Suffering

We continue to encourage people to stand with Israel and the Jewish people, as we have through our news service for years.

Should we continue to stand with Israel with great passion? Absolutely! Now like never before is the time to show our love and support.

In reflection, and in all due respect to our Jewish brothers and sisters, there are reasons Israel is experiencing their challenges and hardships: for one, they have rejected Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. That is what our Bible states.

Additionally, Israel's leaders have been persuaded by American presidents to participate in the “land for peace” talks on God’s covenant land, which has worsened things for Israelis at home. But none of this should be a surprise, because it is part of God’s end-time plan spelled out in the Old and New Testament. Our Lord said all this would happen; it is especially significant today as we watch Bible Prophecy play out rapidly.

In a biblical perspective we are rapidly moving towards the times spoken of Isaiah 13, 17, 19; Joel 1-3; Ezekiel 38-39; Zechariah 12-14; and many others.

Furthermore, our Bible says there will not be lasting peace until Jesus Christ returns to the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. The Jews are looking for lasting peace and security today, but Christians know that will only happen when Jesus Christ begins His reign in the New Jerusalem.

Let’s also not forget: if the United States continues to push on Israel or leaves Israel’s side, we will feel major repercussions. We have shown in “Israel: The Blessing or the Curse” many examples of same-day events when US Presidents apply pressure on Israel to give up her covenant land. They are enormous in size and magnitude. The three largest insurance events in US history all have same-day Israel components. Seven of the top ten FEMA events in US history all have same-day tie-ins to Israel’s covenant land. When Israel’s land is put at risk, the United States’ land and property suffers the consequences.

US leaders don’t realize it, but our survival is dependant on our role in Israel. The United States is coming into a direct collision course with God over His land, and we know who will win if we continue this course.

President Bush

May I respectfully suggest, President Bush, that the UN Resolutions don’t have priority over the covenants of the Bible? Moreover, the God of Israel does not care about UN Resolutions 242 and 338. Also, if you continue to attempt to parcel God’s covenant land and plan on negotiating over the status of Jerusalem, you will be held accountable and there will be a dear price.

Furthermore, President Bush, I doubt the God of Israel appreciates US voters being told the US Embassy will be moved to Jerusalem after you are elected, only to have it continually postponed to appease the Arabs.

Respectfully, Secretary Powell, may I suggest that Jerusalem is not to be part of final negotiations? The City of the King’s borders are not negotiable.

We also know the Lord is using the decisions of our world leaders, including our president, to bring things to completion. Yes, we becomes disappointed at times by their actions, but we must not forget these decisions and efforts are also being used by the Lord to bring His redemptive plan for the world to completion.

Jews looking to Christians

Many Jews right now are looking to Christians to help improve the situation in Israel. Yes, those who bless Israel will be blessed (Gen. 12:3), but the only one who will permanently bless Israel is Jesus Christ.

Israelis are very appreciative of the Christians who are standing with Israel. Many of us who have traveled to Israel recently have experienced the outpouring of their love and appreciation. They have been very appreciative of the outpouring of our love, too. It is ironic that some Israelis and Jews around the world believe the main reason Christians are standing with Israel is for the blessings that are mentioned in Genesis 12:3. “No, it is much more than that; it is the Jesus Christ in us through the Holy Spirit that gives us this passion and love for you.” We must remember no one else in the world is standing with Israel and the Jews but Christians. What is the reason? It is Jesus Christ!

The strong feelings and the willingness to stand in the gap for Israel and Jews is from Jesus Christ, too, and it will continue to grow in us as times get more challenging. This isn’t a natural love; it is a supernatural love for Israel and the Jewish people through the Jesus Christ in us.

Israel is not the only one being tested right now. The Lord is also looking for leaders and people to stand with Israel in the United States and around the world. President Bush, and Secretary of State Colin Powell, too, will be accountable for their positions pertaining to Israel. If a man professes to be a Christian, he, too, must side with Israel and not attempt to appease the enemy of Jews and Christians. The decisions on Israel should not be made in the natural; these are decisions that should be made with the Bible in one’s hand.

During our trip to Israel we heard many times from government leaders and citizens their appreciation for President Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld. However, if President Bush continues to push on Israel to give up their covenant land, our nation and Israel will experience the repercussions. The leaders of Israel will also face further repercussions if they continue to go along the “land for peace” road.

We have been blessed by our leaders in some ways, such as their commitment to making things more secure for Israel. But Jerusalem, the settlements, and the boundaries of God’s covenant land are not negotiable.

Lord’s Plan

The Lord will even use President Bush’s plan to democratize the Middle East. In the natural it sounds like one of the better reasons they are using to substantiate the US battle against terrorism, but the Bible says it will never happen.

The United States is also being used by the Lord to single-handedly battle against radical Islam. And, He plans to use circumstances to bring many more to Him. He is in active pursuit of the lost. It is about souls.

The Lord will also use the improved relations between Jews and Christians for His benefit. He will use the “land for peace” debacle for His purpose of fulfilling Bible prophecy and His redemptive plan.

The passionate Christians will continue to stand with Israel It might not influence policy, but it will be used by the Lord to improve our relations with Jews.

There is also a part of the Christian church that needs to be awakened, for it is almost totally oblivious to what is transpiring in the Middle East.

Another reminder: we see a glimpse of what the Lord is doing, yet he is has multiple (perhaps hundreds, thousands, or millions) of reasons for everything He does. He knows where we will be in 30, 90, 120 days or more. He knows where He is taking things, and He will maneuver them accordingly.

As we move forward, yes, there will be things that happen that bother us, but they, too, have a place and purpose in God’s redemptive plan for the world. Yes, He is still in control and has circumstances well in hand.

If that is true, why is the US experiencing hers?  What
did we do to deserve our tribulations?  Self-righteous
piffle is, unfortunately, not a casualty of war.
