I still would wish to hear this confirmed from some LEO before I go with the Tarot card as fact. It could be a means of trying to drawthe shooter out it may be someone misinterpreting something it may be from some other case there are a whole lot of things that it could be. Further, it could well be purposful misinformation left by the shooter. If the story is that the Tarot Card was found with the casing then the casing is something the shooter wants the police to have (disinformation???). Likewise the shooter could be using the Tarot Card as disinformation. In short what the Tarot Card means if there is a Tarot Card is up for grabs.

I heard Bill Press on WMAL this morning say that Channel 9 TV reported it and the Washington Post printed it and the Post has 2 sources. I too have not heard a police spokesman confirm it.

You just about said it all -- let's hope we have some investigators in this case who think this way. I'm not overly optimistic, however.

I have this mental picture of FBI profilers salivating over the card and turning out frenzied reams of religious fanatic/nutcase/psychopath profiles based on Son of Sam/Zodiac Killer/Cunanan characteristics, mixed with info obtained from fortune tellers -- all the time blindly oblivious to the possibility of a red herring...
