E.D. is bringing up John Walsh to negate Chief Moose's comments that the media need to be more careful regarding their reporting and in particular the release of the tarot card as evidence. Her point is that it is through television/media that John Walsh's show has captured so many criminals. She has a point, but, the media is a good medium through which to release INFORMATION to the public versus releasing EVIDENCE (the tarot card) to the public.

I think Edie was using Walsh as a cover. He's been successful in getting the word out about criminals and capturing them. However in this instance the media has released vital information that wasn't supposed to be given out and may have hampered the investigation. Walsh imo, would NEVER do that.

I totally agree, that's why I said the media is a good medium to release INFORMATION to the public versus EVIDENCE to the public. It was not a particularly good or pertinent analogy.
