Been meaning to thank you for the photography tip about having the horizon low in a picture.

As for the tip - that's not a hard and fast rule. I have a few pictures with nearly centered horizons because I wanted to capture the full reflection of a sailboat, the sailboat, and the sunset behind it all in one picture -- that put the horizon in the middle.
No fun having rules if you can't figure out excuses to break them. *L*
