If you want to be bored to tears with history, I just added a ton to it.

"Everyone - listen to Dave. If you cannot find five bones a month for FreeRepublic...that's pathetic. How do you exist for crying out loud?"

Five dollars a month

Ed/JL this message is not for you two, but for the whinners and freep loaders:

17 cents a day* is all that we ask to pay your share of using Free Republic.

Those of you who say that you can't afford 17 cents a day* or have a mental problem with supporting Free Republic, please take your problems to whackosofAmerica.com or du.com..

*The massive 17 cents per day is about $5/month!

How can anyone take your Free Republic posts/threads seriously, if you want to Freep Load or say you can't afford 17 cents per day?

Good thoughts Dave - as usual, but we have this conversation every quarter don't we?

I guess I'll post my tag line challenge directly to John Robinson and see if that gets any jack rolling in, or maybe I'll offer to match all TagLine Donors up to a certain amount...off to strategize. bbl

Yep, the conversation each Freep a Thon ends up with the reality of the Freep Loaders and the whiners.

Keep us posted on your challenge.

Still no funds in my Pay Pal account...it says they are expected to be available today...but when I clicked on the help button, the weird chart that pops up APPEARS to say they won't be available until tomorrow...wish I knew what was going on...I couldn't have screwed up the account when I opened it, because I was able to verify it...and I know the funds are there to transfer...this is getting on my nerves.

I'll check in with Pay Pal later in the afternoon (before the bank closes), then probably call the bank.

Hey, palo....
Have you visited the pines near Payson or Happy Jack lately?

<===click the image for a full size view.

This is why I was late getting on the FReep-a-Thon thread...just spent most of the week relaxing in the high country!

Thanks to the efforts of many of our environmentally conscious FReepers, we should have a lot of forest like this to enjoy for generations to come. Otherwise, we'll be seeing the devestation evident around Show Low and Heber!
