I also have nothing against the team and its players. Being a Blue Jay fan up here I have a soft spot for Bobby Cox. I suffered through the first 5 years of the Blue Jays existence. The summer of 82 will always be special to me since the first glimmer of hope shone out that year when Bobby Cox took over as manager. It took another 10 years to reach the mountain top but that moment in 82 when we fans realized the team was no longer a joke was wonderful. This has been another dismal year for the Blue Jays but we have some good young players and hope has returned once again. Looking forward to next year.
