The .357 trigger was very heavy and had it modified and I can handle it well, it just isn't very exciting to shoot.

For your night stand gun while sleeping: your wheelgun hands down and .357 is an excellent choice....in my view the best all around revolver caliber period. Awakened from sleep and fumbling around....the foolproof wheelgun is my choice....no question. If you have uninitiated children around then by all means get a quick latch keypad box safe.
