It's not pretty in the Democratic Party. We rolled you audio of Senator Joe Biden (D-DE) flipping out on House Minority Leader Dick Gephardt, because Gephardt stood with President Bush in the Rose Garden to support the joint resolution against Saddam Hussein al-Takriti in Iraq.

 The Boston Globe angrily criticized Gephardt for "standing beside a president who is aggressively raising money to block the Democrats of winning a majority in the House." You people look like the biggest bunch of class clowns that this nation has ever produced.
You only have one guy - a guy with no melanin, standing in the sun risking skin cancer with the president – saying: Yeah, we Democrats care about national security, too. This one man gets it, and you're bitching at him! Gephardt's "soul mate" Daschle didn't even have the political brains to show up at that presser on Wednesday.
Gephardt is the best you have! You Democrats should be bowing down to him, instead of raising eyebrows over his support of national security. He's trying to save your stupid party after Congressmen Jim McDermott and David Bonior went over to Iraq and hugged Saddam. Clinton's in the UK making you people look like a bunch of anti-American traitors. Don't get me wrong, I'd love for you to keep it up. We are benefiting from it.
You just better be glad Gephardt can keep his pants up when he's around Barbra Streisand, otherwise this election would have been a lost cause for your team. Gephardt is the only guy seeking the 2004 Democratic Party nomination who seems to give a rat's Clymer about American security. He's probably saying, "How lucky am I? I don't have eyebrows and I get sunburn in strong moonlight, but I'm the only Democrat on the right side of the nation's #1 issue."
These smarmy little Northeastern liberals are all upset at this show of unity. You see, they only want unity when it's Republicans caving to extreme, socialist ideas. I thought these were the guys who love the president? Now you're bitching at unity? Now you're screaming at Gephardt for doing what is clearly right and clearly what the people want? I guess this spells doom and the end of your careers, huh? Who the hell is it that's voting for you people? |
