Kuwait has deployed ten US Patriot missile batteries in case of an Iraqi attack, the emirate's Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah said Wednesday.
"The situation is not normal and recent military deployments have caused certain worries in Kuwait ... so the country has taken delivery of 10 Patriot missile batteries, whereas Israel only has four," he said, quoted by the state's KUNA news agency.
In addition, the government is planning the distribution of gas masks "very soon" to nationals and expatriates, he added. The foreign minister added that if fighting currently breaks out, fleeing Iraqis would be granted humanitarian aid in a 10-square-kilometer zone along the tiny emirate's border with Iraq.

Some Democrats, as well as most other leftitst, together with Germany and France said Saddam is not a bad guy at all! There is nothing to be afraid off? Or is it?
I guess being invaded, killed and plundered by Iraq changes your opinion about wether Saddam is a threat or not.

When I first read the headline I wasn't sure in what direction the missiles were pointed - LOL!
Yes, I would imagine that being murderously invaded and occupied would tend to color one's view.

Maybe Europe could show the world that Saddam is not the madman Bush says, but moving him, his troops and his 'non-excisting WOMD's' to a patch of land located between France and Germany...
(And the UN headquarters too while we are at it)

Let's see now. According to Bonier, a very high ranking Democrat who has just come back from Iraq, Saddam does not have WMD. Nor does he have missiles to put the WMD on. Saddam said so. You can trust Saddam. You cannot trust Bush.
But if we attack, folks in Kuwait are gonna need gas masks - just in case the Patriot missiles don't shoot down the missiles Saddam doesn't have.
Hmmm...
