KFI-AM and John & Ken are offering Davis $84,000 to debate Bill Simon on their show.
So far Davis has refused to make himself accessible to voters and debate the issues Californians care about with Bill Simon.
With all this money up for grabs, the question now is, "How long can Gray restrain himself from picking up free campaign cash?" Especially when this has no ethics questions attached to it. So what's it going to be, Gray? ________________________________________________________________________
What: The John & Ken Show
Where: Outside Governor Davis' Campaign Headquarters 9911 West Pico Blvd. Los Angeles
Why: Gray Davis won't debate so KFI-AM and John & Ken have offered Davis $84,000 to debate Simon on their show. They are showing up to "encourage" Davis to agree to debate Simon
When: 3pm-7pm, Oct. 3
On Air: 640 AM
On the Web: www.kfi640.com

It''s on now, and for another hour. John and Ken are broadcasting live from the sidewalk outside Davis' Los Angeles headquarters and they are blasting him.
It's funny, listen.

It's on from 3 to 7 pacific time. Some words from KFI website ...
Dead Air: You may experience brief periods of silence while you're listening live. This is intentional because we're not allowed to play local commercials. There's too much legal stuff to put down here, just know that this is normal and the stream isn't broken.
Some incompatibilities: Listen Live doesn't currently work on Windows NT4 or on a Mac. We apologize for this, however, in order to deliver the system in a way that made financial sense we needed to limit the platform. Additionally, the tuner does not work with Netscape 6.* browsers. We are working on a fix for this. It's new: The system is a work in progress.

If California re-elects Davis/Doofus, we are going to drown in debt and high taxes. So PLEASE tell all your friends and everyone you meet to vote Simon!

Davis is ahead by 10-20% Speaking of pathetic, your poll numbers are pure fiction. The highest number for Davis was 10% ahead by the LA TIMES poll who admit that they polled based on population not propensity to vote. When you adjust for the Times intentional errors its more like 5-7% ahead.
All the other polls, public and private are showing the race as being within 4-8%.
Stop and think before you post.

It's a matter of fairness. WE THE PEOPLE have a right to hear them debate! DUMP DAVIS! GO, SIMON!!! (Davis is a whore.)

We need to get even more busy for our man, Simon! I'm up for it. Saturday, Oct 19, 1 to 3 p.m., south steps of the capitol. DUMP DAVIS rally!!! Be there y'all!!! For victory & freedom!!!

What a pathetic stunt. It is now rush hour in LA, and KFI is a 50,000 watt flamethrower with one very large audience in all that traffic.
They're calling Davis' campaign headquarters, among other things, a bribe ollection center.
To: Sunshine McGillycutty
They're blasting the LA dockworkers, too. "Clerks" using chalk and magnets to direct movements have an average annual pay of $118,844; and they won't be able to handle the high tech equipment replacing the chalk and magnets.
There's a guy dressed up like a hooker out there on the sidewalk, and another dressed up in a Gray Davis "Chicken-to-debate" outfit.
The KFI Offer is up to well over $100,000 now, and Davis has to accept the debate challenge before the show ends at 7 PM PST.
