I do think that humble predicted more wind than rain

Well, the breeze picked up between 2:00 and 3:00 PM...
I'm gonna stomp on my beetle.

Gunner, you can't stomp your beetle!!
Weather predicting beetles are very rare, in fact, you and I are the only ones who have them.

Beetles use very scientific methods to determine weather conditions.
They can feel the oscillations of the ionic polarization between water droplets and detect changes in the thermoclines in the molecular state caused by subtle shifts in the gravitational forces exerted by rotational vector quantities deep within the earth's core.
They can also tell when the tree bark that they're holding on to is wet.

I'm sure that the reason the breeze picked up between two and three was a sudden shift in the jet stream of which the beetle had no knowledge, lacking in data which should have been supplied by you.
Besides, if you squash your's, I'll have to squash mine!
I'm not going to be the world's weather man by myself!
