This is disgusting. The position of this court is EXACTLY the same as the FL Supreme Court when they decided that they could unilaterally extend the date of certification to Nov. 26, 2000. Their position is summed up by this: Why should we be held to a strict statute when it denies the voters a choice? The Pubbies are going to lose this one because of legislation from the bench.

The GOP attorney should just say, "Your Honors, it is up to you to decide whether a candidate can withdraw after the deadline just because he's losing."

And then he should sit down.
