I don't think we should take Linda's word - and I've heard the GOP say they intend to take it to the USSC. But she isn't a dummy, either, and I'd be interested to know the truth of the matter. Since we can't expect the media to discuss the law with any degree of seriousness, I thought I'd put her comments out there for Freeper input. So far, the input is making me feel better, because I can't believe the USSC court will allow the games being played in NJ, although they may not want to take the heat they would incur by getting involved in this matter, either.

I agree, Peach...her input is of interest. Of course, we could instead take the word of high school graduate and spelling bee champ, Barbara Streisand. After all, she's all that and a bag of chips.

I'm no lawyer, either; but, since this is a FEDERAL election, I would think the USSC would have jurisdiction. If this were an election for a State Senate seat, then I'm not so sure.

My apologies. Didn't mean for that to come across as being directed at you. I'm interested in knowing Lindas opinion, but some folks on the thread went into "the sky is falling" / "its all over" mode when Linda is just giving her opinion, rather than reporting fact.
Sorry again.
