"My dad retired in the early 90's after 31 years in the Navy" Thank your Dad for his service; I am grateful to him! What did he do after the Navy? It is quite a transition for the whole family BUP

My kids' JR ROTC instructors are retired Navy and they are fantastic people. It's an honor to have them in my kids' school.

He became a BeltwayBandit and traded upon his contacts to make much more money than he deserved...LOL!!

"It is quite a transition for the whole family..."

Not fer the kids...we were all graduated from college and living independently.

I gotta admit that I don't have many prejudices in my background, but I'll admit to one that I didn't overcome until I was in college....yes, my Prejudice Against Civilians!! LOL...I can still remember how I used to pronounce it...."Suhh-Veal-yun!!"..."Suhh-Veal-YUN!!"...awww, they were DIRTY and UNPRINCIPLED and totally beneath our dignity, 'til they started wearin' the cheerleadin' outfits...LOL!!
