Nothing really new here for FReepers; however, it may be an eye-opener to Chicagoans.
Posting this late at night is a risk, I know. I'm hoping to log on in the morning and find it where I left it.

Looks like Schippers has this reporter almost convinced -- quite an accomplishment, judging from the sarcasm and hostility that drips from the writer's pen. Note that former CIA Director R. James Woolsey has also publicly endorsed Davis' findings re OKC in the past few weeks. For those who wonder what Timothy McVeigh has to do with ME terrorism, a good starting point would be McVeigh's own
Essay on Hypocrisy.

This article is poorly written. It starts as a smear job on Shippers, then ends up agreeing with him. Most people do not read to the end of the article(s).

Thanks for the post and the ping.
This is a pretty good summary of the history of this related to Schipper's involvement as I remember it unfolding.
Also, a joint congressional intelligence panel studying the events of September 11th has been authorized to review terrorism in the United States going back to 1993, including Oklahoma City. Davis, however, has not been contacted by the panel. She did give documents to Pennsylvanias Arlen Specter, of the Senate Judiciary Committee, after they were both guests on the same Philadelphia radio show
I am not surprised that the panel hasn't called her (or Hastert's office, for that matter). I'd bet Specter has already shredded everything she gave him, unless he's found ways to make it pay off. I sure hope she didn't give any of these people her originals.

I don't agree that the article was "poorly written"......I find it engrossing. For those with the attention span of gnats, the whole thing falls on deaf ears anyway.
If any more info. is available, please feel free to e-mail me personally.

Excellent piece.
Facts are stubborn things.
The FBI is working around the clock to make sure we aren't burdened with any.

I'm not convinced Shippers is a good guy. he is after all democrat. I defy anyone to prove to me how Shippers could remain a democrat knowing just a portion of what he does.
If a democrat is a democrat he/she is a pariah. I don't care what wing they inhabit. Shippers has something wrong with him or he would'nt be a democrat, period.
