Lautenberg is detestable! Yes, I know but that's never stopped the Dems before. Look at their mastermind. Talk about detestable.

I'd be surprised if NJ's rules were that lenient. Which would completely rule out X42. I don't think this matters. The deadline for putting a different name on the ballot has passed. SO, they're going to try to say that votes for Torricelli will really be votes for whomever the Dem gov decides to appoint.

But the same people who are disgusted by the Torch's ethics, are the same people who won't care for this tactic either, AS LONG AS we slam it as the weasel move that it is. If the D-RATs try this kind of slimy tactic, this has the potential to slime them in centrist voters' minds all over the country, not just in NJ. The Pubbies just have to play it up.
To: Dianna
It's too late to fight that particular tactic as the precedent has already been set.

Just a thought if The Torch quits ... Is Tony Soprano a democrat?

I like my Governor, Hull. But I wouldn't want her to pick who my next Senator would be.

Just a thought if The Torch quits ... Is Tony Soprano a democrat? I'd bet Carmela is, I don't know about Tony.
To: alisasny
The Torch just moved his news conference to 5 PM ET.

"Looks like I picked the wrong week to (insert vice here)." Mad Dawgg buzzing in: What Bill Clinton Said to Monica?"
Trebec: Correct Mad Dawwg
Mad Dawgg: Ok I'll Take "Democrat Dirty Tricks" for 1000.

The deadline for putting a different name on the ballot has passed. SO, they're going to try to say that votes for Torricelli will really be votes for whomever the Dem gov decides to appoint. If there's no Democrat on the Ballet, the Republican wins. He has no opposition.
To: Dog
Suggest someone try to change the title of this thread to reflect the correct time for his press conference...

Back to 5 p.m.?
This is getting ridiculous.

Aye, there's the rub.

They can write in a name...

It's too late to fight that particular tactic as the precedent has already been set. You could be right. I don't know. So we trash the new person running over weasel tactics?
