With the world watching, with Osama-loving-sycophants, Arafat apologists, and Abu Nidalets looking on, you would think the democrats would want to demonstrate to the world that democracy can work. That politicians in this country are willing to face the ballot box, that democracy can and should be demonstrated to work, that liberty and respect for the peoples will is not only paramount, but saught out by proud representatives who value the mandate given to them by the people instead of their own blind ambitions.

The dems reflexivly ask themselves "what would willie do?" and put on parade for the world a croked, already-been-bribed thug for the world to scandalize over while the Osama-loving-sycophants delusionaly pontificate that "democracy is dead", that "liberty is an illusion".

My utter distaine for their raw lust for power grew in 2000 with al gores delusion of grandure, was fanned by Janet Renos parade of chads this year and is sealed by toricellis utter lack of respect for liberty, democracy and a country OF, BY and FOR the people. 53 posted on 9/30/02 6:54 PM Central by ChadGore

The Dems have admitted they lost the New Jersey senate race today, The rest of the action is to: 1. Take the country's mind off of the war, where Republicans are strongest and switch the debate to another election fiasco. 2. Energize their base in New Jersey for the other elected offices.

Agree. Trusting they fail again. :O)

I went over there a while ago and saw a few that said they thought Ashcroft offered torch a deal. No prosecution if he did this.

The New Jersey law says his time for abandoning his decision to run or not has come and gone. I really don't know what their plan is but whatever it is Torricelli stated his reason for resigning from the campaign was he didn't want the seante seat to go to a Republican. I don't think that cuts it

That won't solve the problem that the state GOP won't support Jones or Simon.

I began reading the threads backwards.....didn't realize that there had been a correction about which Court had been petitioned. This will no doubt end up in the US Supreme Court.

Hellooooo? Does anyone see the parallel to Torricelli? Assuming that Torricelli has released his tax returns, any cub reporter in New Jersey can find out whether Torricelli declared that $22,000 that he spent from "unknown" sources. If not, then Torricelli, just like Capone, is guilty of tax evasion. And that charge has squat to do with whether Chang is "credible." Chang would not even have to be a witness in that trial.

Right on! Last Saturday, Linda Chavez appearing on The Beltway Boys, mentioned that Torricelli may have bigger fish to fry with the IRS.

I suspect there is another shoe to drop in this case. There is another document that the media is demanding be released. I believe it's the Senate original charge against T........

Why is Clinton not eligible? Don't say because he's already served two terms, that makes him ineligible to be elected President.

One more taping or dirty trick could push him over the top. We shall pray that it does. One honest Dem every once in a while would be nice.

Right on! Last Saturday, Linda Chavez appearing on The Beltway Boys, mentioned that Torricelli may have bigger fish to fry with the IRS.

There is also the insurance fraud issue and filing a false police report. I kinda figured this one out after listening to a link last night someone posted that included a report on Torricelli. I think it was by a local New Jersey TV station.

Torricelli claimed the loss an Omega watch from a burglary to his house. A watch he had given to his ex-wife. She said she gave it to a housekeeper since it was not gold. It was a watch purchased for him by Chang.

This would mean he filed a false police report and also defrauded the insurer. Not a big deal some would say? Only a watch? Nope. People that do that kind of fraud don't do it on one item. I'd bet that it's very possible that there was actually no burglary or it was trumped up and that there were numerous items "stolen" that were not stolen at all. This guy was like some kind of crack addict. He had to feed his big man "I'm dating Bianca Jagger" habits.

This bum has thought he was bullet proof. He is nothing but another con man, shakedown artist, liar and thief. And anyone that supports him is not better. (insert recent picure of Daschle and The Torch here).

Deport,

Think the civil rights commission... The seat as defined by the US constitution is for six years... It has nothing to do with who is in it.

On O'Reilly, Paul Mulshine reporter for the Newark Star Ledger has said that one possible replacement for the Torch is Robert Menendez....his decription: "a liberal but an anti-Castro Cuban"

I've found this.....interesting article about the Torch, Menendez and Cuba...
