DC Chapter works fast. This field had been old-growth forest when we arrived, but we clearcut it and sent the harvest to a dioxin-producing mill within the hour.

We had first gathered on this (the NW) corner, but it soon became too small of a space for us, and the Park Police offered to move us to the SE corner.

BufordP's sign was a big hit. He used short words so it could be read by the liberal arts college students.

A steady breeze all day lifted our flags in a beautiful display.

The reporters were from the Associated Press and the American Prospect. Both of them were okay.

Later, I did an interview with WTOP-AM from D.C. I heard bits of it last night during their on-the-hour and half-hour headline reports. I was identified in the reports as being with the D.C. Chapter of Free Republic.
