I live in a big city, so yes I've heard of him...and back when he did his one big hit "Copperhead Road", I believe the country music station here played that a lot...and I liked it a lot...but, the album, outside of that song was awful. At that time, when it came out, it was unusual for a country artist to be left-leaning or Democrat.
