Update: House/Senate Conference Approves Partial Birth Abortion Ban without Harkin Amendment - Action needed
LATEST UPDATE: On September 30, 2003, the House-Senate Conference Committee approved the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act, S. 3. without the Harkin Roe v. Wade language. The House is expected to take up the bill on Thursday,October 2, 2003 and it is hoped the Senate can pass it before Friday, October 3, 2003. New Jersey's two U.S. Senators Corzine and Lautenberg have repeatedly voted against the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act. They need to know that their votes do not represent the will of the majority of NJ citizens. Please contact both. Tell them to vote "yes" to send the Partial Birth Abortion Ban to the President for his signature.
