Yeah, I know a lot of you out there HATE Howard Stern but the second half of his movie, Private Parts had some of the funniest scenes (especially with Pig Virus) I have ever seen. Unfortunately, the producers tried to "humanize" Howard by injecting a bunch of hokey stuff involving Howard's ex-wife (a big mistake in retrospect) but the stuff about Howard's experiences at WNnnnnnBC and his run-ins with Pig Virus were CLASSIC!!!

I'm from Cleveland. Used to listen to WMMS daily. As I got older and MMS floundered, I switched to WMJI.

Now that Clear Channel owns everything, there's really not much worth listening to in Cleveland. I flip stations in the morning to avoid commercials and catch some relevant traffic (which is usually useless). They've homologized themselves into irrelevance as far as I'm concerned. And the commercials! There are so many times I used to go somewhere, and my entire trip was spent listening to commercials waiting for some music on a Clear Channel station. I finally just turned the radio off and switched to CDs.

And don't think for one moment they'll continue -- for too much longer -- letting Limbaugh do his own *thing,* either.
The lovable fuzzball continues to become addicted to a quarter-billion dollar paycheck paid him over *X* number of years.

CCCs can safely (& will) tell this guy, "We OWN you lock, stock, & barrel; since, we OWN the stations you're heard on. So, just shut-up & do as you're TOLD 'lest we pull your PLUG."

Keep advocating further deregulation & see what happens; because, this quisling punk already has some kind of reporte' with McGrath at MTV.

Moreover, given what this loser's up to on behalf of CCCs??
Would be absolutely facinating to check & see whether or not CCCs has any interests whatsoever in these satellite radio providers *like* XM, Sirius, or Delphi.

Might just be *surprised* who we'd find lurking just behind the curtain intent on pulling the levers for that venue, in our near future, eh?

Clear Channel bought all the stations here in Raleigh NC as well. The AOR station that used to play John Boy & Billy out of Charlotte now play these two worthless trashheads Bob & Tom out of somewhere up north. It's like listening to two Howard Sterns. One was bad enough and failed quickly down here because of his lack of talent, but because Clear Channel owns all the stations, apparently we are stuck with them. JB&B were moved to the oldies station. I have to listen to music from the 50s and early 60s just to hear a decent non pornographic morning show I grew up on. Clear Channel also owns the country station, and the CHR station.
