Scott Ritter - What turned the hawkish Iraq weapons inspector into a dove? His paygrade.

If Ritter lied so vociferously, so easily and so often in 1998, why should we believe him now?

Hey, I remember that Scott Ridder. What a change. I also remember when he was being personally trashed by the Iraqis on a daily basis. They obviously feared him.
I don't think money would have turned him, but threats on the lives of his family would.

$400,000. I don't think so. I think he's scared. And by something not good. I would not be surprised if his family has been threatened.

By his own admission, Ritter accepted $400,000 in funding two years ago from an Iraqi-American businessman named Shakir al-Khafaji.Of the $400,000, he claims that only $42,000 went into his own pocket
