I care about the issue more than the party. America first.

I'm about to make a sincere request. It's easy to post your above comment when you believe a Democrat took the proper course of action. It is not so easy when one believes a Republican took the wrong course. Please remember your comment the next time someone posts honest criticism of a GOP member. Some folks will critique the action without taking party into account; those posters seem to catch a great deal of flak for their comments.

Hey, I'm not a hypocrit. I have posted on many occassions that I think Haley Barbour should have been investigated better, and from the information I found, have been sent to jail! He was no better than Gore as far as I'm concerned.

I've also been critical of Sen. Lott and the way he treated the House Managers during the impeachement of Clinton.

I'm quite consistent in my criticisms. Like I said, I put America FIRST. It would seem Zell Miller does too. I applaud that!!

Fair enough. It's just that there are a handfull of people here, who mercilessly, and unfairly trash the Republican party. They go far beyond honest criticism. It's hard enough taking rude and cruel comments from extreme Liberals, but that's not surprising coming from them. No, it's the really rude, mean and sarcastic comments coming from some so-called fellow 'conservatives'; that's hard to take!

But you're right. There are decent, honest, moderate and conservative Democrats that exist in the party. Maybe it's better to have a honest, decent, patriotic Democrat that will put his/her agenda aside, and work with Republicans. It's sometimes better than a faithless, backstabbing, treacherous Republican, that goes behind our President and our party's back, and jumps over to give our hard-won majority over to a nestfull of vipers! But I kind of think that there are still a lot of such Democrats left in that party who are like Sen. Miller; but the only ones we hear about are the extremists!
