Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Randy Moss was arrested Tuesday evening by Minneapolis police for assaulting a downtown traffic cop with his car and remains in custody, a spokeswoman for the Minneapolis Police Department said.
The MPD's traffic control agent suffered injuries in the 5:45 p.m. CST incident, but her injuries are not life-threatening, said Cyndi Barrington, public information officer for the MPD.

What do you expect from one of the top-5 A-holes in the NFL? And that's saying something considering the scum that is in football today.

ESPN did an interview with a police spokesbabe and she explained that the officer was a traffic control person, but was not actually a police officer. She said that Moss was making an illegal turn and the woman stepped in front of his car and told him to stop. He pushed her with the car for about half a block while she yelled and blew her whistle until she finally fell down. She used her radio to summon assistance and the cops showed up and arrested Moss. The coach tried to get him out of jail, but was unsuccessful. I think what may develop here is a Darryl Strawberry type situation. First Moss is likely to get felony probabion. Then, as he continues screwing up, and I think he will, it will evolve into time in jail, and the eventual ending of his football career. Although we need to be ready to laugh our Mosses off in the near future as he comes up with the usual "I turned to Jesus" story like so many other screwup rich spoiled thug athletes.

"I tried to call him to figure out what happened, but he's not answering his cell phone. I'm waiting for him to call me at this point." Go figure, the gray-bar hotel isn't taking phone calls.

He's luck to be alive....the QB of Minnesota wanted to kill him Sunday, but the coach stopped him.

Typical ball player. He blows the game, then goes off and takes it out on the public or a cop. If I was the cop that got dragged half a block, I would have beat Randy like a rented mule.

I expected the wheels to completely fall off for Moss once Chris Carter left the team. I feel Carter's ability to mentor him was the only reason the Vikes drafted him.

LOL....Moss needs to come to the Cowboys.....he'll fit right in.

Boy, what a great draft choice! He was certainly worth all of the money, wasn't he?
There was a reason Moss was passed over by many other NFL teams, and the Vikings are now seeing what that reason was.
Why doesn't Iowa have a pro football team? Because if Iowa got one, Minnesota would want one.....

No doubt, send him to the Dallas Cowboys: America's Team crack wagon.

Thank God for college football.
Go Dogs!

He hasn't caught a pass this year, so he thought he'd catch a cop.

Moss said last year, he plays hard when he feeks like it and apparently he follows the law when he feels like it. This is one of those cases where a guy has all the physical talent in the world and nothing going on between the ears.
