This isn't news. It's just Reuters and Zogby beating the drum. Transparent b*st*rds.

Gore is a fool and a disgrace.

Pollster John Zogby said Gore's message was "very well timed." That's as far as I read. John Zogby is as delusional as his brother.

A better headline would be:"Gore Iraq Speech Could Galvanize Lunatic Fringe"
To: Shermy
He recalled that opponents to the Vietnam War did not fare well with voters even though that conflict turned into a disastrous defeat for the United States. And that was how Sen. Albert Gore, Sr. of Tennessee was defeated for re-election in 1968.

Zogby said. "There will be an anti-war movement that grows out of this."
You and your anti-American Rat friends are counting, right, Zogby?

- A fierce attack on President Bush ( news - web sites)'s Iraq policy issued by former Vice President Al Gore ( news - web sites) could help galvanize U.S. opposition to a new Gulf war ( news - web sites) while serving as a launching pad for Gore's probable 2004 presidential campaign, analysts said on Tuesday.I hardly think the monotone kid will cause that kind of excitment.

Good to know that Aldork is going to join the long tradition of war protesters as a political strategy for the presidency. He can thank his spiritual mother:

Thing is, was the speech coherent? Seemed like a patchwork of old talking points and implication that we are insulting our allies. And the economy? The demos want to make Iraq and Bush the issue. They did, and created the media environment. thing is, they have nothing to say about it.
They gave up on the economy issue long ago, though Da$chle brought it up for about 10 minutes last week.

John/Joe... no difference to me.
I think both hate Israel.
One admits it and the other doesn't.

exactly right: well-timed? maybe, but certainly incoherent. I kept thinking that somebody must be screwing around with Gore's teleprompter -- randonly inserting commas and periods everywhere except where they belonged!

This is way too good to be true. Gore leads an anti-war movement that rocks an already demoralized Democratic Party. Does anybody remember 1968?
Only in my dreams are Democrats stupid enough to let this happen again.

I hope Gore was listening this morning when Tony Blair spent two hours deliniating why Saddam needs to go...and needs to go now.
We wouldn't be in this position now, if Gore and his friend hadn't allowed the weapons inspectors tossed out during their watch.
Thank God for the current administration and it's resolve to put a stop to Saddam's build up, while there's still time!
