Senator Clinton, who is not up for re-election until 2006, warns in her letter to millions of Democrats that, without the White House, they have an uphill battle. Democrats, she said, "don’t have the conventional advantages in this campaign. We don’t have the White House fund-raising machine or the support of the many special-interest groups who are pouring cash into the coffers of the Republican Party.’’

Hillary you poor dear... we know that Bill's pet wooden Indian Al Gore lost the White House, along with the ability to rent out the Lincoln Bedroom to raise funds for you Democrats, but you can hardly say you don't have your special interest groups...

Unfortunately, with all your diverse special interests seemingly pulling in different directions, well, things are just different this year.

I have one pertinent question. Jews, who tend to be pro-Israel, are having a real problem with the pro-Palestinian sentiment that seems to be gaining credence among liberals, and there is a definite schism between the Jews, who have traditionally supported the Democrats financially, and blacks. If the Jewish people get fed up with the Democrats and make a BIIIIIIG jump over to the other side, where will you get your money then?
