Voting record

Bob Clement describes himself as a moderate to conservative Democrat.

Many special-interest groups issue ''scorecards'' to show how legislators line up with an issue important to them.

Here are how a few of them rate Clement's voting pattern.

National Right to Life Committee: 60% in 2001 and 45% in 2000

Planned Parenthood: 60% in 2001 and 73% in 1999

Service Employees International Union: 63% in 2001 and 71% in 2000.

United Auto Workers: 69% in 2001 and 71% in 2000.

NAACP: 71% in 2001 and 80% in 2000.

National Rifle Association: (lifetime vote rating given in 2000) was B plus

U.S. Chamber of Commerce: 64% in 2001 and 76% of the time in 2000. National Education Association: 66% in 2001 and 100% in 2000. League of Conservation Voters: 79% in 2001 and 47% in 2000.

THIS GUY IS A SOCIALIST

Tenn is such a horrible place for the Dems these days. The demographics suck for them , and over time slowly suck more and more. I feel for them.
