One good reason to vote for Torricelli
Imus in the Morning | 9/24/02 | Jonathan Alter

Posted on 09/24/2002 6:53:15 AM PDT by TC Rider

Did anyone hear Clinton buttboy, Jonathon Alter on Imus this morning? Alter continues to be a cheerleader for the Dems at Newsweek.

Imus asked Alter to give one good reason to vote for corrupt Senator Bob Torricelli.

Alter's reply was that it was important to vote for Torricelli to keep Senate control in Dem hands. He went on to say that many Republicans in DC prefer the Senate in Dassholes control rather than reverting back to Lott. He said the consensus was that 'more' got done with little Tommy in charge.

Imus is an old fart looking for somewhere
to dump his attitude.Beyond that,he gets
sound bites not extracted anywhere else.
Bernie and Chuck anchor this space cowboy
and the mix is worth watching. Imus however
never misses a chance to call Rushbo a racist.

Fox and friends ,while on later,in Phoenix
is just too much cereal and berries for me.
I need meat. Fox and friends should have
a RUSHBO MOMENT where a fixed photo of
'the great one" tells the soundbite of
the day.........you put Rushbo in charge
of the matches and you're gonna have some fires.

They seem to have backed off a bit on that. It did really crank me when they did the Rush parodies, portraying him as racist.

It made me wonder how many libs who call Rush racist, formed their opinions based on Imus parodies.

He went on to say that there were several Repubs that wouldn't want to see Armey as the Leader (who could blame them). I don't think he implied that they'd rather see Puff Daschle instead, though.

I'm positive he said Lott and not Armey (who's in the House). My recollection was that he said he knew Pubs who preferred Dasshole to Lott, 'cause Dasshole got 'things' done. (I'm guessing he's referring to Chafee, McCainiac and former pub Jeffords the Traitor.)

Yeah I heard that. Alter showed what a light weight he is in the field of journalism. He doesn't even make a good DNC pundit.

Anytime somebody asks him about a topic other than what's on his talking points he doesn't seem to be aware of it.

No good reason, no way, no how.

Alter is aptly named. He Alter's all the facts to fit and spin the Dem. message.

Imus is the very best at interviewing people. He does
kiss a couple of behinds:McCain,Kerry but he still
can get more out of a politician than anyone else. I could
live without his self-promotion.

I get a kick out these people that show up anytime somebody mentions the word IMUS and make all these comments against him.

It seems they make the same comments every time. Cutting and pasting from previous threads?

I have to wonder if they've listened to him in the last 2 or 3 years. He has taken a turn to the right and people don't seem to notice.

I just maybe because his wife Chuck and Bernie have made him see the light. Yes he does have a lot of liberals on (including McCrazy), but a lot of times he is mocking their liberal agendas.

You must also remember that a lot of his guests are booked by MSNBC and we know how far they lean to the left.

One of his funniest sound bites was when George Bush the father got on the phone during the elections of 2000. He said, "Barbara and I listen to you all the time". I wish I had a sound clip of that conversation it was a classic.

I'm putting on my flame retardant clothing now.

God save us from the Imus Ranch.

I actually did go out and buy the "Flatlanders" Cd. It's pretty good. His huckstering is shameless though.

For anybody who's interested you can listen to his program over the internet via WTNT. Right now they are broadcasting the G Man(G. Gordon Liddy).
