From the WHAS Newsroom....
(Frankfort, KY) -- The Executive Branch Ethics Commission will meet Friday morning to consider the accusations against Governor Patton. Meanwhile, a hint today that Tina Conner may have indeed benefited from a special business designation some state workers say they were pressured to grant her. The "Paducah Sun" newspaper reports S-T Construction, owned by Conner and her husband, did some work on the Barkley Regional Airport. It wasn't a state contract, but did hinge on the special designation.

Add to your lists of wrongdoing: 1) crying in public so ignominiously (sp?), and 2) using his office to destroy the other woman. Those things are just about as bad as the adultery and lying (the misuse of office is probably even worse).

Of course he's hanging on to his job. Without it, he's going to lose his ability to get lots of sex. At least, without spending his own cash. *g*

Due to the gender equity laws, companies all over the country are in the name of the wife so contracts can be obtained. Nothing all that unusual here.
The tricky part comes in where he gives her preference over other minorities!!! hee hee hee......let the fun begin!!!

If he had an ounce of pride and half as much shame he'd resign.
I understand he is the head of the National Governor's Conference. In a way I sort of hope he doesn't resign. It could have the desired effect of reminding voters across the country of the 'klinton' effect.
However, I don't see how he can survive.

What ever happened to the deal several months back about the House of Prostitution working out of Kentuckys Capitol offices. Was that rumor, truth or what? Does anyone remember or know of what I speak. I read it somewhere on the internet.

I heard on the news this morning (WHAS 840) that Patton had appointed all members of the ethics commision. Now that sure gives me a warm and fuzzy. They will probably give him a standing ovation and then endorse him to run against Bunning.

What a simpering, self-indulgent, disgusting display. A real man would've resigned (let alone not get into such a situation in the first place). Men who can't be faithful to their own wives will not be truthful to the people they govern. Look at Clinton - the biggest lyin' adulterin' slimeball we've had in a long time. You're right. This guy, like Clinton, is not a real man.

I heard on the news this morning (WHAS 840) that Patton had appointed all members of the ethics commision. I heard that one last night too, but they will perform their duties in a professional manner, blah, blah, blah....what a joke.
To: Fred Mertz
The only duties the ethics commision will perform is to sweep as much of this doo doo under th ecarpet as possible.

Don't worry about an Ethics Comission ovation for Patton. When Mizz Judy gets done commissioning his ethics Porky Paul will have a standing OY VEY.
The ethics folks will probably go easy on our boy but don't believe they could give him a pass.

Just now, 15:16, Patton is on radio compartmentalizing and Clintonizing how he needs to be left alone to do the work of the people of KY. He lays the law down about how press may question him. After the fact BARF ALERT.
