From the WHAS Newsroom....
(Frankfort, KY) -- The Executive Branch Ethics Commission will meet Friday morning to consider the accusations against Governor Patton. Meanwhile, a hint today that Tina Conner may have indeed benefited from a special business designation some state workers say they were pressured to grant her. The "Paducah Sun" newspaper reports S-T Construction, owned by Conner and her husband, did some work on the Barkley Regional Airport. It wasn't a state contract, but did hinge on the special designation.

Hehehehe! I spent my middle and high school years in Louisville...man, the politcs of Kentucky stink almost as bad as here in Illinois. I wonder how that communist rag the Courier-Journal is spinning this for their 'Rat buddy Patton?

I saw Patton's tearful apologia on TV and heard it on the radio.
What a simpering, self-indulgent, disgusting display. A real man would've resigned (let alone not get into such a situation in the first place).
To: egarvue
The same as usual, except they may be willing to stick it to him in order to but the mountain boy back up the hollow. They're pretty elitist that way.

Does anyone have a link to the picture of the Kentucky Governor crying like a baby with snot running down his nose during his confession?
I heard about it on the radio today but haven't seen it yet.
To: martin_fierro
Well, this is just the tip of the iceberg. There's more to come, I guarantee it. For instance, there's a whole treasure to be found in Pike County, where he was County Judge-Executive, with certain females who he's placed in high profile political jobs, where they're not qualified but still get the job. The media will have a field day if they'd just get down to the dirty job of uncovering this stuff...and it wouldn't be hard to do.

LOL LOL.
To: martin_fierro
I'll give you a 1/2 thank you. That is what is known as a tiny picture as opposed to the link I was looking for.LOL
I'm going to have to hunt harder I guess.
To: big ern
No, that is what is known as a
linked image.
Had you right-clicked on the image and clicked on "Properties," you would've seen its source: http://enquirer.com/editions/2002/09/22/pattonsad72x101.jpg
Geez, do I have to do everything? <|:)~
To: martin_fierro
I did that? And guess what? When I went to that addy it was still that tiny ass picture.LOL
I'm talking about a picture that was in some Kentucky paper that had him crying with tears running down his face, blubbering away, and actual snot running out of his nose.
Now, I appreciate your efforts but you could see how you picture could be somewhat disappointing in comparison to the picture I'm describing.

He should resign immediately. If he doesn't do so in a week, he should be impeached.
He's stained the office of governor.
To: Fred Mertz
And insulted the good people of Kentucky....
To: big ern
Happy NOW? <|:)~
Squint hard enough and you can even see the pixelated snot.
To: martin_fierro
HEY, Thanks! I never knew Max Headroom was the Governor of Kentucky.
I tried every trick I ever learned as a teenager trying to watch the scrambled porn channels on Cable TV and I still couldn't see the darn snot.

What a legacy... forever referred to in headlines as "the KY Governor"...

I wonder how that communist rag the Courier-Journal is spinning this for their 'Rat buddy Patton? An Associated Press release, written by a Courier Journal journalist who covered the Patton Friday (5PM) news conference, managed to write the approx. 850 word article without once mentioning the party affiliation of the Kentucky governor. Can you imagine that happenibg if Gov. Paul Patton were a republican? Not a chance ... the headlines would scream "Republican Governor Paul Patton admits to sordid extra marital affair in tear full press conference ..."

The more I read about this Patton creep, the more sickening he becomes.
This is a guy who:
- Criticized Clintoon during the Lewinsky scandal, while carrying on his own extramarital affair;
- Twice in one week lied to the press, denying the affair;
- Admitted to the affair only after he was sued;
- Now claims to accept "full responsibility" for the affair -- and won't resign!
He's something decidedly less than a man.
