My God, he's arguing that it's safer for Saddam to stay in power than to have a weakened Iraq under our control?

And is he really stupid enough to think that once we oust Saddam that we'll leave all the naughty weapons lying around?

Gore is more than a bit on the dim side. He's effectively saying that things would be better if Saddam stayed in power than if we overthrew him.
