Buzz Aldrin 'was never in Los Angeles' shock claim

Sceptics refute astronaut punch-up story
by Lester Haines

Buzz Aldrin today faces the strongest test yet to his credibility as websites worldwide accuse the former astronaut of "never having been in Los Angeles in his life", let alone having assaulted a documentary filmmaker outside a Beverley Hills hotel on 9 September.

Aldrin claims to have given Bart Sibrel a "right ass-whupping" after the latter asserted that the moon landings were faked. Sibrel prodded Aldrin with a bible and received a fat lip for his trouble, it is reported.

Buzz Aldrin: Serious discrepancies in storyHowever, sceptics point to several serious discrepancies in the evidence which could seriously undermine Aldrin's version of events. Firstly, www.herecometheblackhelicopters.com says that video images of the fracas "clearly show that the sun falling on the facade of the hotel is coming from the EAST. However, at the time of the alleged incident, the sun was shining from the SOUTH WEST".

Further fuel is poured onto the conspiracy fire by www.imofftomymontanabunker.net, where analysts state that "Aldrin's hair can be clearly seen fluttering slightly in the breeze, although there was NO WIND WHATSOEVER in Los Angeles that day".

Aldrin has been quick to refute the claims, and was seen on television yesterday wearing a LA Raiders baseball cap which, he stated, "could only have been bought in Los Angeles". He angrily rejected the accusation that the cap could have easily been faked at any number of secret NASA facilities throughout the US, and stormed: "Anyone who says I didn't buy this hat myself in LA is gonna get a piece of what Sibrel got — and then some."

A NASA spokeswoman told us no one with authority was able to discuss the controversy. "They're all out in the Arizona desert filming the first manned expedition to Mars in 2020," she informed us. "Call back next week."

How do you remember the first and second men to walk on the moon?

Neil down and Buzz off.

LOL!
But, for the record, Buzz Aldrin has been in nearby Santa Monica at The Museum of Flying
for a book signing some time back!
OK, maybe he was...all I saw were some photos and maybe those were faked!

(for interested parties, The Museum of Flying is leaving Santa Monica...high insurance rates
as well as curtailed flying
due to the coastal fog/haze)

I am probably completely wrong about this, but it seems Buzz was involved in a road-rage incident in Houston several years ago.

I used to know a woman who is/was married to him. Don't know the current marital status.

If you are going to post satire, you probably should label it as such. I got it from the reading the headline but a small minority of Freepers do believe in Black Helicoptors and other conspiracies and would take this as fact.

Great gig at the foil hatters. Love it. My oldest son (18) and I are absolutely glee-filled every time the TV shows the clip of Buzz clocking that dude. Wouldn't you hate to have to go to the next TFHA Convention and admit you got your @ss kicked by a 73 year old man?

I have actually been to the desert sound stage where the moon landings were filmed. The best part was running around with the bungee chords simulating the low gravity conditions of the Moon. The amazing part is that none of the pictures I took showed up on the film.

I too have seen the sound stage. My film developed blank, demonstrating that Fuji is in on the hoax.
