I wouldn't have a problem with prescribed marijuana---treated as any other drug with restricted access to people who actually needed it (based on clinical studies, not hearsay). I'm sure the active ingredient could be extracted and put in pills. I don't know why this is not done if the benefits are as great as many people say they are.

But prescription drugs are generally not made available through "clubs" or in "coffeeshops" and I see a good part of the medical marijuana movement as nothing more than a method to avoid existing laws.

If you have the votes to make marijuana legal, go for it.

That's odd, most people only have a problem when another person harms them by initiating of force, threat of force or fraud against them. You seem to have a problem with yourself, not other people.
