"They [commissioners] are like a son getting mad at his father, who's lost his job, for not paying his allowance. ..And a local radio guy corrected the guv's bad analogy: what's happening here is more like the son having a job, but his father goes to his employer to pick up the paychecks -- and dad keeps & spends them for his own "needs". My only change would be that dad is spending that money on the lottery!

True. But the analogy here is more similar to the vehicle inspection stickers we buy. I remember when it was proposed the State Guvnar said it would never go over $5.00 period. Well in some places its $65.00. WHO LIED? WHO DID IT? Lemme see. I think the make up of the State government was about the same as it is now. What party was that?
