"What does it profit a man to gain the world and lose his soul?"

It is not the individual's duty to try to predict the election and vote for the winner. It is the individual's duty to vote for the best candidate, if one exists, and let the Almighty sort out the results.

When a man starts out by shortchanging his principles by voting for a scoundrel, how can that same man expect anything less than scandal and skullduggery if that man should be put in office?

I would go a step further and say that it is the individual's duty to try to convince others to vote for the best candidate, or at least educate them on the Constitution and hope they make the best choice. Unfortunately, it is clear that FR is about electing Republicans--period. I disagree with that and the new policy of banning those who are found guilty of "bashing our candidates."
