Jim is right, the democrats have become evil, really evil not just altrusitic to a falt. Not the 60 yr old moms and pops, but the party, its leaders and it methods. They will stop at nothing to get what they want and it takes vigilance and singlemindedness to defeat them, which we must do, or it is the beginning of the end. It will take years to get the stench of the Clintons' off our government and our society. They invaded everything in the land with thier corruption, and are still out there working on it.

Shall we become more like them and call it "taking way their issues?"

Shall we make ourselves harder to distinguish from Democrats and call it "moving to the center?"

If we really believe that they are evil, at what point do we make the case that we are good? And what evidence will we show?

So much of what passes for "strategy" in the GOP amounts to lying to the people in the center in the hopes of tricking them into voting for the right thing for the wrong reasons.

Sometimes, when the press is hurting our feelings, we just settle for being less wrong than the Left.

Rubbing my elephant pin and chanting "take back the Senate" changes none of that.

You hit on a great point. The Democrat Party is evil, but when the GOP incorporates some of the Dems' issues, it's strategy.

Where's the logic in that?
