I like your point in 738 alot. We don't convince those voters to support I side by calling the people evil. They don't feel evil. We need to sell them on our ideas and why they are better.

But on your second point.... if you are going to take the stand that the fetus is a person with rights.... then it makes very little difference... Right to life is either inalienable, or not. That one has to be yes or no, I am afraid.

Point well-taken. I believe at the moment of conception there is a new life created, which carries with it all the rights of any other human. But is a woman who's been raped evil in the same sense as one who has a late-term abortion (or one who kills her infant child)? I submit her emotions have the better of her, sure. I'm not ready to go so far as evil.

I would never call her evil either... That doesn't help us... We will never win the argument by making it about her. She is how the Democrats have won. If you want to change the law, the argument has to be about the child.
